Couples Co-Net supports married (or partnered) Black and Afro-descendant couples in the Canadian immigration context. The program offers a safe, respectful, confidential and non-judgmental space to help couples build a healthy, balanced and harmonious relationship, so they can navigate the challenges that come with cultural differences, new responsibilities and the stress of adaptation. These challenges can sometimes weaken communication, create tensions or amplify pre-existing difficulties. The program aims to strengthen marital and family relationships to prevent and respond to gender-based violence in all its forms.
